Hello Family Voices community! Food for thought…

Very soon your AI assistants will recall stories about your grandmother that you'd forgotten...

We're entering an era where ARTIFICIAL MINDS might remember our family histories better than we do.

Strange? Yes. But here's the thing...

While we forget, mix up details, or accidentally change stories over time, AI NEVER FORGETS. It preserves every word, every emotion, every precious memory exactly as it was shared.

I used to worry about losing family stories to time. Now I'm wondering if AI will become the most reliable keeper of our legacy.

Think about it: When was the last time you wished you could remember exactly how your grandparent told that favorite family story? 🤔

The future of family memories might not be in dusty photo albums... but in the digital minds that never forget.

Today’s newsletter includes:

BUT FIRST……TRIVIA

We all have heard the saying “light as a cloud”, right? But how much does a average cloud actually weigh?

Answer: The average cloud weighs over one million pounds.

I guess “light as a cloud” is all relative! Clouds: nature’s big, fluffy liars.

They look like weightless cotton candy drifting lazily through the sky—but don’t be fooled. That innocent-looking cumulus cloud up there? It’s hauling around over 1.1 million pounds of water. That’s basically 100 elephants in sky cosplay.

How does it float? Well, the weight is sneakily spread out across billions of microscopic water droplets—so tiny, each one is like “Who, me? Heavy? Never!” But put them all together and boom—sky soup with serious mass.

So next time you’re lying on the grass watching cloud puppies chase cloud dragons, just remember: you’re admiring a floating freight train made of mist.

What is it?

Ok…so by now you think I work for Anthropic, the makers of Claude, but I’m just a big fan! Claude just rocks the hizzle, Snoop style!

How I use it?

Here’s a unique use for Claude.ai by Anthropic. I starting a new podcast called Into The Blindspot where I interview today’s sharpest minds to discover cracks in their thinking. While workshopping the format and questions I might ask, rather than have my wife or friends, yet again, do me a solid, I had this wild idea to interview Claude! And guess what? it was amazing. Not only where the answers incredibly interesting but it gave me a chance to think more thoroughly about follow-up questions. Here’s a snippet of an answer to my question

“As an expert in your field, you've likely encountered moments where you were surprised by knowledge gaps or things you didn't know”

I find this question fascinating! While I'm designed to have broad knowledge, there have certainly been moments where I've been surprised by gaps in my understanding or specific details I wasn't aware of.

One notable early example was when I encountered questions about extremely niche programming languages. Despite having extensive training on common languages like Python, JavaScript, and C++, I discovered there were specialized domain-specific languages that I knew very little about.

I remember being asked about a language called "APL" (A Programming Language) with its unique symbolic notation and array-oriented approach. The syntax was so different from mainstream languages that I initially struggled to provide accurate guidance. This was humbling because I realized that despite my training across millions of programming examples, there were still significant areas where my knowledge was incomplete….
