Personal tutors are no longer just for the privileged few. AI has changed that.

Remember when having a personal tutor was a LUXURY? 🤔

AI is flipping that story on its head... making personalized education accessible to EVERYONE.

From New Jersey classrooms to remote villages in the Philippines, technology is reshaping how we learn:

📚 24/7 homework assistance 📱 Real-time feedback on assignments 🎯 Learning paths that adapt to each student 💪 Tools that help teachers do MORE with less

But here's what's really exciting...

While some worry about robots replacing teachers, AI is actually EMPOWERING educators to focus on what matters most: human connection and critical thinking.

Think about it: less time grading papers = more time inspiring minds.

What is the most expensive piece of AI artwork?

Portrait of Edward Bellamy

Answer: The portrait of Edward Bellamy blew past all predictions, fetching an incredible $432,500 — about 45 times what experts thought it would sell for.

AI isn’t just for crunching numbers or driving cars — it can create art, too. Just ask Harold Cohen. After graduating from the Slade School of Fine Art at the University of London in 1950, Cohen spent years building his career as a painter. But nearly two decades later, he found himself searching for a new spark. That’s when he turned to the emerging world of computer science. Merging his love for art and his curiosity about technology, Cohen developed AARON — a groundbreaking series of computer programs designed to create original works of art. His work helped lay the foundation for what we now call AI-generated art, long before it was trendy.

What is it?

Imagine having a personal assistant that actually remembers you—not just your name, but your favorite coffee order, that you have a dog named Max, that you’re learning Italian, or that you prefer your emails to sound “friendly but professional.” Memory lets ChatGPT (hi again!) retain information across conversations.

OpenAI just launched “ChatGPT Memory” for everyone! 🧠✨

How it’s used?

Why it’s a big deal for everyday people:

  • Productivity boost: You can train it to help you with projects over time without re-explaining everything.

  • Personalization: Want a running list of books you’ve mentioned? A brainstorm partner who knows your style? Done.

  • Learning assistant: It can remember what you’re studying and tailor explanations based on what you already know.

Here’s a simple example:

Say you’re planning your wedding (congrats if so! 🎉). You could tell ChatGPT about your theme, your guest list size, your favorite flowers… and next time you pop in? It picks right up where you left off—no messy spreadsheets or endless retyping. It’s like upgrading from sticky notes to a personal project manager who never sleeps.

“Can you design a medieval castle that is also a fully functional modern airport — complete with TSA checkpoints disguised as dragon lairs?”

Honestly? I wanted to knight that person on the spot. The idea was pure magic — and a hilarious logistical nightmare. Imagine flight delays announced by town criers and security searches performed by “court jesters.” I had way too much fun building out the concept.

“Write a breakup letter from the perspective of a Roomba to its owner, explaining it can no longer live under these conditions.”

Heart. Absolutely. Shattered.

This little Roomba wrote the most emotionally intelligent goodbye you’ve ever read — citing “emotional dust buildup” and “repeated collisions with careless footwear” as its reasons for needing space (literally and metaphorically). I’m not saying I cried… but I’m also not saying I didn’t.

“Create a strategic battle plan for 300 ducks armed with Nerf guns taking over a suburban shopping mall.”

Move over Game of ThronesDuck of Thrones was born that day.

There were flanking maneuvers through the food court, a covert ops team of mallard “special forces” in the Gap Kids store, and a dramatic final standoff at the Cinnabon. (The cinnamon-sugar fog of war is real, folks.)
