Power flows where attention goes. And our digital playthings are demanding unprecedented energy.

Recent research reveals a startling reality: the server farms powering our AI companions, virtual assistants, and digital entertainment now consume more electricity than entire countries. A single large-scale AI model's training can generate carbon emissions equivalent to five cars over their lifetimes. As these technologies become more sophisticated and widespread, their energy footprint grows exponentially.

This presents us with a profound question about balance. How do we reconcile our desire for increasingly intelligent digital companions with our responsibility to future generations?

Is our digital immortality worth the cost if we destroy the planet?

What year did we get our first AI chatbot?

Answer: The first AI-powered chatbot was created in 1966

The first AI-powered chatbot, ELIZA, was created in 1966—nearly half a century before Amazon's Alexa. Named after the character Eliza Doolittle from "Pygmalion," ELIZA operated by reformulating users' statements into questions. For example, if you mentioned exciting weekend plans, ELIZA would respond with "What about those plans excites you?" Interestingly, MIT's Joseph Weizenbaum, who developed ELIZA, later became concerned about the implications of AI in society after observing how people interacted with his creation. He began warning the public about the potential dangers of giving artificial intelligence too significant a role in human affairs.

What is it?

No more licensing headaches. No more settling for stock music that doesn't quite fit. Instead, creators can generate custom soundtracks that perfectly match their vision.

How YOU can use it?

Tech giants move fast. YouTube moves smart. Their new AI music generation tool isn't just another feature. It's a strategic revolution for content creators.

As someone who's spent decades in audio, I see this move clearly for what it is. YouTube understands that content creation thrives on accessibility. By putting AI music tools directly into creators' hands, they're removing one of the biggest barriers to quality content production.

This tool will fundamentally change how creators think about their audio needs. No more licensing headaches. No more settling for stock music that doesn't quite fit. Instead, creators can generate custom soundtracks that perfectly match their vision.

The implications stretch beyond YouTube. As AI-generated music becomes normalized, we'll see ripple effects across all digital media. The question isn't whether AI will transform creative fields but how quickly and in what ways creators will adapt.

🎩 1. “Write a breakup letter from a pigeon to its owner.”

Yep. The pigeon was tired of being treated like “just a winged companion” and wanted to explore life beyond the balcony. It even quoted Shakespeare. Wings were burned.

🦖 2. “What would a velociraptor’s LinkedIn profile look like?”

Spoiler: it included “Fast-paced team player,” “Sharp focus,” and “Highly skilled in conflict resolution… through claws.” Also, endorsed for “hunting in packs.”

🍝 3. “Generate a legal contract for someone marrying a spaghetti noodle.”

It was part of a performance art project, allegedly. The clause about “al dente fidelity” was… oddly touching?
